Tabletop Blog 4 - The Dungeons of Jank

I built some walls.... and floors...and doors.

And they all come together through the power of magnetization to form.... janky ass dungeons.

So I've been trying to think of what I want to build next with gaming in mind, and considering I'm playing adventure and story based games, I need modularity. So, with some XPS foam, pencils, scalpels and magnets. I made these.

On the note of scalpels, seriously, be careful when cutting foam. I most certainly got myself good waaay too many times working on this one. I've been feeling very manic lately and I think I wasn't as safe as I should have been. Anyway, moving on.

Magnets are facing opposite polarities either end of a wall, so when reversing faces meet, they always match up. And yes I definitely worked that out the first time and didn't have to dig a bunch of magnets out of the test ones....

Pretty fun project, will represent dungeons and buildings you can actually enter which is sick. I'm going to have to speed this process up though if I want a full dungeon crawler...

Alright, until next one of these. Seeya
